After a degree in Computer Animation, Mark entered the post production industry at MPC Commercials in 2011. One night, during his time as a runner he discovered the colour suite, fell in love with the art of grading and has never looked back.
Mark started his colourist career in East London’s Splice before finally joining Evolutions as Senior Colourist in 2022. He has a diverse portfolio of work that speaks for itself, and includes scripted, feature length, broadcast, commercial and all short form content. He is very popular with clients, not only for his sought-after artistic flare but for the great energy he brings to the sessions and the workplace.
His work on BBC 1’s Saved by a Stranger was nominated in the ‘excellence in grading’ category at the 2021 Broadcast awards and he has also worked on numerous other Bafta, Emmy and Grierson nominated productions.
Outside of work he is a keen drummer, having played for over 20 years, he loves the music festival circuit, is a tortured Reading FC fan, and his Mastermind subject would probably be Red Dwarf.
Recent credits include Sex Actually with Alice Levine, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins USA, Disney’s Encanto live at the Hollywood Bowl and Bafta nominated How to Survive a Dictator.
