Nerys Richards

Dubbing Mixer

About Nerys

Nerys is Evolutions’ longest serving Dubbing Mixer; she joined us in 2000 from Carlton TV and prior to that Silk Sound. A classically trained musician, she plays the piano, violin and viola in various semi-professional orchestras across London. Using her musical excellence, she obtained a prestigious Tonmeister (Music and Sound Recording) degree at the University of Surrey. This skillset enabled her to work as a freelance music editor for record companies Naxos and BMG.

Nerys has a cheerful, unflappable demeanour, where nothing is too much trouble, and her wealth of experience in broadcast leaves her often in demand. Excelling in entertainment and documentaries, along with her obvious penchant for music programmes, Nerys is a uniquely talented, sought-after Dubbing Mixer.

What people say about Nerys

“It’s been a pleasure working with Nerys on two primetime ITV series – never less than professional and dedicated, plus she’s good company in the dub. Here’s to the next series Nerys…”
Ian Leese, Producer/Director – ITV

“Nerys has been imperative in crafting an MTV show that uses its soundtrack to differentiate itself from other programmes on the network. With exceptionally high music content, busy graphics, and dialogues recorded in challenging spaces, her expertise glued the show together to form a fluid and effortless watch.”

Gareth Simpson – Music Supervisor
