About Nick

Nick began his television career in 1992 as a Studio Engineer at Ravensbourne, before progressing to ‘The Family Channel’ at the Maidstone Studios in the Engineering department. It was during his time here that Nick realised he had an allergic reaction to cardigans and sandals with socks so decided to knock engineering on the head!

After hearing the London Streets were ‘paved with gold’ Nick undertook a variety of roles in Soho ranging from a VT Op to an Edit Assistant at Soho 61.

Nick started editing at Editworks in 2005, primarily on linear tape suites then moving onto DS. He continued on this for three years, specialising in online and graphic work and completed his first Symphony job (The Sexy Ads Show) in early 2008. Nick then moved to Evolutions as part of the ex-Editworks creatives team and as they say, the rest is history.

What people say about Nick

“I have known and worked with Nick on the Online of QI for many years. I find his quiet, assured manner a real tonic in the hurly burly of modern TV life. He is a real asset to Evolutions.”

Ian Lorimer, Studio Director of the QI TV series
