Scott Goulding

Senior Colourist

Like so many before him, Scott started out as a runner at a facility in Soho, London.  In between making cups of tea and ferrying film cans around town he became the company’s in-house projectionist.  After later progressing to the machine room, Scott used any free time jumping on the Avid Media composer which included cutting some early promos for E4 and MTV.

Early experience as a projectionist allowed Scott to land a position as a scanning & recording operator at Lipsync Post. This was at the outset of DI and they had just built two brand new grading suites.  This was the lightbulb moment where he knew exactly what he wanted to do.  After working himself off the night shift, to the mid shift, to finally the day shift, Scott assisted the colourists whenever other jobs allowed.

Assistant Colourist became Junior Colourist, which became Senior Colourist.  Over the past 10 years Scott has had the pleasure of working on primarily feature films, drama and documentaries.

In his spare time Scott likes to get outdoors whenever possible (to re-calibrate the eyes). He enjoys cycling, live music and for his sins is an avid Afc Wimbledon supporter.  Scott can also currently be found learning ukulele alongside his 9 year old daughter.
