Ian made his way from New Zealand in 1989, and after a short spell of greenkeeping on the Elstree Golf Course, he soon found himself working at LWT in the Film/PSC and Post-Production department. Those were head-spinning days with location work making up most of his early career, assisting camera and sound crews, and ending up at the 1992 Euros whilst working on the last 6 months of Saint & Greavsie. He then helped develop and expand the post-production department from six offlines to over forty, including Symphony Online suites, which he later worked in as an Online Editor on strands such as Airline, Come Dine With Me, Words of... and Piers Morgan Life Stories to mention a few. He moved to Evolutions in 2015 where his credit list exploded with a fabulous range of programmes and clients working across the London sites and on a few spells down in Bristol.

Family life plays a huge part in his spare time – with three daughters, there is never a dull moment. He has an interest in motorbikes and cars, and he is currently looking for a project to get him off the PlayStation and into something more rewarding.
